Lovingly designed wooden houses with selected objects, details and Balinese art line up charmingly around the pool in the Eco Village Resort, the restaurant serves Balinese dishes in organic quality, most of them coming directly from the hotel garden. Owner Tom Talucci came to Bali 20 years ago and was a pioneer on the island with his holistic resort concept when he opened Desa Seni in 2006. Balinese ceremonies are lived authentically here, so every morning a Prayer Box with offerings for the earth and heaven gods is ready for the guests on the terrace and when you enter the Desa Seni, you are welcomed with a gong stroke and evil spirits and negative energies are kept away from the resort. At the pool you can relax wonderfully and immerse yourself in the Bali spirit with a Kundalini Yoga class or an Aura Chakra Healing as well as be pampered with a massage in the Desa Seni Spa. If you want to explore Canggu or cycle through the lush green rice fields, bicycles are available at the reception.
